BD Wong Teaches You How to Eat a Chicken Wing.

BD shows us just how eating a wing is done.

You might know BD Wong as the handsome perennial guest star, but he knows the secret to eating a chicken wing properly.

Confession: I am terrible at eating chicken wings. It's tricky getting all the meat off the bone—especially on those two-bone sections—and I find myself messily attempting to pick every bit of flesh off in too many bites. This is doubly embarrassing because my girlfriend hails from Buffalo, home of the Buffalo wing, which means we are eating chicken wings on the reg.

Enter the very excellent BD Wong, who has an ingenious method of eating those two-bone chicken wings. (This section of the wing, according to my chicken-wing-expert girlfriend, is called either a "skateboard" or a "flat." Who knew? Oh, right, people from Buffalo.) Cribbing a trick from his mom, Wong's strategy is to hold the chicken wing like a video-game controller, twist it back and forth until you feel the cartilage break, and pull out the small bone. This lets you devour the meat in a single bite—or, as Wong says, "lollipop it."

Let's also admire the way BD Wong is able to classily eat a chicken wing while keeping his very handsome suit clean. Next time you're at a fancy event, you won't have to avoid the finger foods to keep your outfit clean. Just twist it, pull out the bone, and lollipop it BD Wong–style. But don't take my word for it. Watch him demonstrate:
