Actor and San Francisco native BD Wong confronts a tragic choice in his latest stage role as a country doctor in the American Conservatory Theater's production of "The Orphan of Zhao." In this classic Chinese legend, Wong's character must choose between saving his own son or the son of the emperor. The versatile performer won a Tony Award for his Broadway debut in "M. Butterfly" and had a recurring role on the television series "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." Scott Shafer sat down with BD Wong to hear about his career.
